✨ In 2023, the Novo Concept team successfully completed an interior design and custom furniture project for an 80 sqm apartment located in Bucharest.

🔘 The project began with a complete renovation, where we replaced the finishes (tiles, parquet), sanitary fixtures, and modified the electrical system to optimize the lighting sources. All the furniture was custom-made to perfectly match the clients' desires.

🚨 The clients' brief was very clear: 80% white and 20% gray, with no other colors. The design had to be clean, simple, and minimalist. The clients provided us with a floor plan and precise instructions regarding the functionality of each corner, which helped us find the optimal solutions to integrate their wishes into the design.

💡 The main challenge was to adhere to this strict brief while still achieving a sense of comfort and warmth at home. We accomplished this by using neutral 4000K light from LED strips and velvety textiles.

The living room is a generous space where we integrated storage spaces with doors, maintaining a sense of cleanliness and order. The custom furniture made of painted MDF and MDF panels fits perfectly, and the light colors create an airy yet organized space.

🖼️ The marble-effect wallpaper from VLAdiLA is the only accent on the walls, and although the clients were initially skeptical, they decided to trust us, and the result exceeded their expectations.

The kitchen is a long and narrow space, typical of apartment blocks. We maximized storage spaces, created a breakfast area, and separated the oven/microwave area from the work area. The furniture made of painted MDF, the countertop, and backsplash made of Alpine White Corian, along with the integration of a Kangen water filtration system, contributed to a functional and aesthetic design.

The bathroom underwent the most significant transformation, with a uniform marble finish to avoid visual clutter. The furniture is made of water-resistant painted MDF, and the countertop is made of Alpine White Corian. We kept the bathtub but added a glass panel and an illuminated niche for products.

The bedroom was designed for rest, with an oversized hotel-style headboard that brings a comforting atmosphere. We played with the volumes of the lighting fixtures and fluted paneling to add depth and elegance.

📌 The final result was an apartment that meets the clients' desires, giving them the feeling of "home." Our role as designers was to understand what "home" means to each person and bring that vision to life.
